Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery was the first surgical specialty to be established as a Board Certified Specialty, in the year 1924. Our office provides four such Board Specialty surgeons for care of your ear, nose and throat problems.

We are located within the Bronson Medical Office pavillion and are available to assist you Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Our Scope of Practice:

Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgery is a medical specilaty concerned with the medical and surgical treatment of the ear, nose and throat and related structures of the head / neck.

Ears
Evaluation of hearing loss, recurrent ear infection (tubes), tinnitus and balance disorders.

Nose
Correction of nasal airway obstruction, nasal deformity, nose bleeds, allergies, cosmetic surgery.

Throat
Medical and surgical treatment of tonsilitis, adenoid enlargement, voice disorders, snoring and swallowing problems.

Sinus
Treatment and management of sinus infections, polyps, endoscopic sinus surgery.

Sleep Disorders
Snoring, obstructive sleep apnea, somniplasty, snoreplasty.

Head and Neck
Surgical treatment of thyroid, parathyroid, head and neck tumors, salivary gland surgery.

Audiology
Hearing problems, evaluations, hearing protection plugs, swim plugs, amplification (hearing aids).

Insurance:

Our office participates with a variety of insurance carriers. Since these arrangements change from time to time, we will review our participation status at the time of your registration appointment. If you have a question about pre-authorization, please contact your insurance carrier prior to your appointment.

You must bring your insurance card(s) to each appointment to help us provide the most efficient and trouble-free processing of your claim. If you are not insured, we request payment at the time of service.

If your insurance changes, please be sure to notify us as soon as possible. Having accurate information enables us to contact you promptly and submit claims accurately.

HealthCare Midwest has many physicians and service locations. For your convenience you will receive one statement for all HealthCare Midwest services. Any payment made after the time of service will be applied to your oldest balance.

Emergencies:

If you have an emergency that requires immediate attention, call 911, or proceed directly to the hospital emergency room.

If you call our office for emergency problems after regular business hours or on holidays, you will be given an opportunity to speak to our message center. The operator will ask you a few questions and will contact the physician on call.
