Thomas M. Schaller, M.D. joined HealthCare Midwest Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine in Kalamazoo on August 16, 2004. Dr. Schaller graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology & Psychology from the University of Miami in 1993, which followed with the completion of his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Illinois in 1998. Dr. Schaller completed his orthopedic residency with Michigan State University / Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies in 2003, and in July 2004 he completed an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship with the Department Orthopedic Surgery at the Carolinas Medical Center. Dr. Schaller is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, as of June 2006.

The addition of Dr. Schaller and his specialized skills in orthopedic trauma surgery will enable HealthCare Midwest to better serve our patients and the community through expanded services.
