Sherrill
Busboom attended Eastern Illinois University and graduated
with a bachelor's degree in Zoology and Chemistry. She then
attended the University of Iowa Physician Assistant Program
for two years with certification as a Physician Assistant. After
working for four years in family medicine in rural Iowa, she
moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1985 to work at the Physician
Assistant Program at Western Michigan University. She continues
to work at WMU. She worked for several years as a PA in clinical
trials at the Upjohn Research Clinic and as a clinical trial
specialist in Clinical Development with the Women's Health group
of Pharmacia & Upjohn.
About
three years ago, Sherrill started working with Dr. Mark Goetting
as he began his practice in Sleep Medicine. She continues to
work on part time basis with Dr. Goetting.
Sherrill
is married with two children who attend Otsego High School.
Her interests include biking, running and being actively involved
in her family's activities.
