Dr. Robert Isacksen received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1991. In 1997, he completed his surgery and urology residencies at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. During his urology residency, he received an award of excellence from the Chicago Urological Society. Dr. Isacksen is certified by the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Isacksen, M.D. is very involved in advancing the field of urology including publishing professional articles, textbook chapters, videotapes, and presenting papers at professional urological assemblies. He is a member of numerous medical societies including the American Urological Association and the Western Michigan Urological Association.
