Robert
R. Gorman, III, MD, grew up in Kalamazoo and is a graduate
of Loy Norrix High School and Kalamazoo College. He earned his
medical degree at Wayne State University’s School of Medicine
in 1998 before completing his internship and residency with
Wayne State’s Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He served
as Administrative Chief Resident and received Resident Awards
for Excellence in both Adult and Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.Dr.
Gorman completed additional fellowship training at the Florida
Orthopedic Institute in Foot and Ankle and Lower Extremity Trauma
Surgery.
Dr.
Gorman specializes in disorders of the foot and ankle and
has special interests in adult and pediatric fractures.
He performs minimally-invasive and arthroscopic surgery
for the foot and ankle, and offers ankle replacement
surgery. He is a member of the American Orthopedic Foot
and
Ankle
Society and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of
Orthopedic Trauma. Dr. Gorman is Board Certified by the American
Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
