Nancy J. Kalinowski, MD, FACS, started off her career as an RN from the Bronson School of Nursing. She went on to Michigan State University where she obtained her MD in 1986. Dr. Kalinowski completed her general surgery and internal medicine residency through Southwest Michigan Area Health Education Center at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids in 1992. She became board certified in 1993 and recertified in 2002. In 1992 Dr. Kalinowski joined General & Vascular Surgery where she performed general surgery. She now specializes in the coordination of breast problems and difficult comprehensive breast surgery cases.

Dr. Kalinowski joined HealthCare Midwest in 2008 as part of General & Bariatric Surgery.
