A
medical graduate of Michigan State University, Dr.
Mark G. Goetting has completed training in four Michigan
communities leading
to board certification in four specialties, including sleep
medicine. He has directed a number of sleep centers over
the years and restricts his practice solely to sleep disorders.
He founded Sleep Health, a comprehensive sleep center, in
2005.
Dr. Goetting has authored over 40 scientific papers, as well as
numerous abstracts and textbook chapters. His current research
includes innovative therapies for sleep apnea, chronic insomnia
and restless legs syndrome. He continues to provide guidance to
Medicare on sleep medicine related policy and has helped pioneer
sophisticated home testing for certain sleep disorders. He has
been listed in Best Doctors in America since 1996.
Working with Dr. Goetting is Jori Reijonen, Ph.D., one of
the few clinical psychologists who is board certified in behavioral
sleep medicine. Sherrill Busboom, PA-C, Joe Williams, PA-C,
and Michael Claussen, PA-C are experienced physician assistants
who also specialize in sleep medicine.
Sleep Health has some of the most experienced and extensively
trained technologists in the country. The laboratory is a
tertiary center for the evaluation of complex sleep disordered
breathing, parasomnias, and pediatrics. The technology is
continuously changing, keeping Sleep Health on the leading
edge.
