| Dr.
Kenneth Highhouse is a native of Florida. He graduated
Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Florida in 1986.
He received his medical degree, with honors, from the University
of South Florida College of Medicine in 1990 earning membership
in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed specialty
residency training in orthopedic surgery at Michigan State University/Kalamazoo
Center for Medical Studies in 1995. During his residency he returned
to Tampa through a traveling rotation for specialty training in
sports medicine. He continues in private community practice with
an academic affiliation as an instructor for the Michigan State
University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies orthopedics surgery
residency program.
Dr.
Highhouse is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic
Surgeons. He has a private practice in general orthopedic surgery
with special interest in injuries and disorders of the shoulder
and knee, fractures, sports medicine and arthroscopy.
Dr. Highhouse joined HealthCare Midwest in October 2002.
