Dr.
Jeffery King is a board certified, fellowship trained
orthopedic surgeon specializing in care and surgery of the
hand and elbow. He received his Bachelor of Science in physical
therapy from Boston University and his Medical Degree from
Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic
residency at Michigan State University / Kalamazoo Center
for Medical Studies and fellowship training in surgery of
the hand, wrist and elbow at the Mayo Clinic. He has authored
several papers in these areas, and is involved in medical
education on a local, regional and national level. His current
clinical research interests include trauma and reconstructive
surgery of the wrist and elbow, including total elbow replacement
surgery. Prior to his returning to Kalamazoo, Dr. King was
an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery
at the University of Michigan. Dr. King joined HealthCare
Midwest in July 2001.
