Daniel
E. Stewart, MD, FACS, graduated from the American University
of the Caribbean in 1984. He completed his residency in Kalamazoo
through Southwest Michigan Area Health Education Center in 1988,
and went on to MSU until 1990 in East Lansing. After joining
General & Vascular Surgery in 1990, he was board certified
in 1993 and re-certified in 2002. In 1991, until the close of
the surgical wing of Bronson Vicksburg Hospital in 2003, he
was Chief of Surgery.
From
2000 until 2006, Dr. Stewart was Vice Chief and Chief of Surgery
and Chief of Staff at Borgess Medical Center, where he remains
on a number of different boards. Dr. Stewart specializes in
general, neck, breast, laparoscopic abdominal, and bowel surgery.
Dr.
Stewart joined HealthCare Midwest in 2008 as part of General
and Bariatric Surgery.
