Christine
Harger, RVT joined HealthCare
Midwest in February, 2006. Chris worked as a Registered Medical
Assistant before entering the field of Vascular Ultrasound.
In 1992, she joined a local surgical practice where she trained
under the supervision of vascular surgeons before becoming a
registrant with the Association of Registered Diagnostic Medical
Sonographers.
As
a Registered Vascular technologist, her clinical settings have
included hospital, office and subcontractor work in Arizona,
New York, Colorado, Virginia and Florida. In addition to clinical
experiences, administrative duties have included departmental
management, ICAVL accreditation, staff training, developing
policies and procedures, and helping to set guidelines for community
screening programs.
In
the past she has served as Secretary for the West Michigan Society
of Vascular Technologists. Current memberships include the Society
of Vascular Technology and the Association for Medical Ultrasound.
