She has combined her passion for riding with physical therapy by presenting clinics designed to educate riders on proper stretching, core stability, and strengthening to maximize their ability to perform and minimize injury. In addition to riding, Cheries has been active in Tae Kwon Do. She has tested through her brown belt and uses her martial arts knowledge to assist patients with goals in this regard.
Cheries is an active volunteer who enjoys helping people. This dedication to helping others is what first interested Cheries in a career in physical therapy. She attended Central Michigan University where she graduated with honors in the Bachelor in Health Fitness in Rehabilitative Settings degree and went on to earn her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy.
Cheries began her career at K Valley Orthopedics following graduation.
