The Central Administration department, located at 4341 S. Westnedge Avenue, Suite 2205, Kalamazoo, is looking for a self-motivated and dependable professional to function as a courier. This is a part-time position, Monday - Friday, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (15-20 hours per week). Travel to off-site departments, reliable transportation, a valid Michigan driver's license, safe driving record and proof of insurance required.

The individual is responsible for a variety of duties including, but not limited to, pick-up, sort and deliver daily interoffice mail, transfer lab specimens and miscellaneous office back-up. Work requires lifting, handling and transferring envelopes, packages or other materials weighing up to 30-50 pounds on a continuous basis.

The Urology department, located at 601 John Street, Suite M-206, Kalamazoo, has an opening for a team-oriented and dependable individual with excellent multi-task and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to work productively in a busy atmosphere are necessary characteristics. The position is full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Experience in a medical office and travel to other off-site departments is required.

This individual is responsible for a variety of duties including, but not limited to, greet and check patients out, collect payments, schedule appointments and diagnostic testing and provide miscellaneous office back-up as needed.

The Ambulatory Surgery Center, located at 125 W. Walnut Street, Kalamazoo, has an opening for a self-motivated and responsible individual with excellent multi-task, organizational and customer service skills. The position is part-time, Monday - Friday, variable hours depending on departmental demands (20 hours per week). Travel to other off-site departments is required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient check-in, phone triage, patient reminder calls, prepare patient charts, filing and miscellaneous office functions. The Urology department is seeking two professional, patient-oriented and hard working individuals to provide clinical support.  These are full-time positions (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. in a fast paced environment; hours may vary pending departmental demands. Travel to off-site departments is required. Appropriate licensure/certification and CPR are required. Preferred qualifications include: clinical office experience and general computer proficiency. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, vitals, room patients, gather patient information, physically assist patients, phone triage and advising, and assist physicians with patient needs.  It is necessary to perform duties accurately, efficiently and with acute time management skills. The ability to organize and prioritize and sensitivity to patient needs are a must.

The Lifetime Wellness practice, located at 4613 West Main, Suite A, Kalamazoo, is looking for an empathetic, patient-oriented and team driven individual to provide clinical support as needed. The position is on-call, variable days and hours, supporting multiple providers; travel to other off-site departments is required. Experience in a medical office environment and CPR is required. Computer proficiency and EMR experience is preferred.

This individual must have knowledge of clinical practices with excellent communication skills and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include, obtaining vitals, phlebotomy, rooming patients, gathering patient information, physically assist patients, phone triage and assist the physicians. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (40 hours per week) in a fast paced environment. General computer proficiency and CPR required. Medical office and clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities include phone triage, patient care, chart preparation, scheduling, physician support and disability forms. Physical Therapy
PHYSICAL THERAPIST

The Physical Therapy department has an opening for a team-oriented and empathetic individual with excellent diagnostic, communication and customer service skills. The opportunity is part or full-time, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday am or pm. Days and hours are variable based on patient scheduling.

Primary responsibility is providing physical therapy to patients. Michigan State Physical Therapy Licensure is required. Experience is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Cheerfulness, professionalism and dependability are necessary characteristics.

Urology
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

The Urology department, located at 601 John Street, Suite M-206, Kalamazoo, is looking for an qualified, patient-oriented and team driven individual to support six physicians. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., in a fast paced environment. Travel to other off-site departments is required. No on-call. It is necessary to perform duties accurately, efficiently and with acute time management skills. The ability to organize and prioritize and sensitivity to patient needs are a must.

Requirements include the following:

  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
  • Satisfactorily completed a program for Physician Assistants that was at least one (1) academic year in length, consisted of supervising clinical practice and at least four (4) months of classroom instruction directed toward preparing students to deliver health care and was accredited by the American Medical Association’s Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation
  • Urology experience preferred. Surgery experience preferred but not required
  • BCLS and ACLS
